G4CQM reunited with Clan Line after more than 55 years!

Long before I became a licensed Radio Amateur my hobby was train spotting and model railways. My first locomotive was a Triang TT Gauge Merchant Navy. Yes, 35028 Clan Line! She was then a "Spam Can" with that original sleek streamlined body shape! In October 1959, having run 401,005 miles she was rebuilt at the Eastleigh Works to a more conventional BR design and was the last of her class to be converted. In 2017 she lives on thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Merchant Navy Locomotive Preservation Society!
